Acceptable Use
What you can and cannot do with our platform.
In short
A short policy on the spirit of using ProjektAnalytics: bring data you have the right to use, decide on outcomes that hold up under scrutiny, and do not point the platform at people in ways you would not want pointed at you.
Effective 28 April 2026
01
Spirit
The rule behind the rules
Use ProjektAnalytics to make better decisions on your own data and your own business. Do not use it to harm people, deceive them, or break the law. Most of this policy is a longer version of that.
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to anyone who uses our website, our platform, or any deliverable produced under an engagement. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
02
Lawful Use
Stay on the right side of the law
You must not use the Services in any way that violates Indian law or the law of any other jurisdiction that applies to you or to the people whose data you process. This includes laws on privacy, data protection, consumer rights, advertising, intellectual property, and financial regulation.
If a regulator, court, or law enforcement agency contacts you about activity on our platform, tell us promptly so we can respond appropriately.
03
Data You Provide
Bring data you have the right to use
You confirm that you have the rights, consents, and lawful basis to share with us the data you connect, upload, or instruct us to analyse. You will not send us data that you obtained through scraping in violation of a website's terms, through a breach, or in violation of a privacy law.
Avoid sending us data you do not need. We do not need raw payment card numbers, full passwords, or sensitive personal data unless an engagement explicitly requires it and we have agreed protections beforehand.
04
No Harm
Do not use the platform against people
You will not use the Services to:
- Surveil, profile, or score individuals in ways that are unlawful or that the individuals would reasonably consider harmful.
- Make automated decisions about credit, employment, housing, insurance, or essential services without lawful basis and without human review.
- Discriminate against individuals or groups on the basis of race, caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
- Build profiles or models targeting children under eighteen.
05
No Deception
No misleading uses
You will not use the Services to:
- Generate false claims, fabricated metrics, fake testimonials, or synthetic reviews presented as authentic.
- Misrepresent the source, methodology, or accuracy of an analysis — ours or yours — to investors, regulators, or the public.
- Run dark patterns, deceptive A/B variants, or experiments that manipulate users into outcomes against their interest.
A causal estimate is an interpretation, not a fact. Present it as such.
06
No Platform Abuse
Respect the system
You will not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without our written permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform, except to the limited extent permitted by applicable law.
- Bypass rate limits, share credentials across organisations, or otherwise circumvent technical access controls.
- Upload malware, run denial-of-service activity, or send unsolicited bulk messages through the Services.
- Use the Services to develop a directly competing product.
07
AI Outputs
Treat model outputs with care
Where we surface model outputs, recommendations, or natural-language summaries, you remain responsible for the decisions you take and the actions you ship to your customers. Review outputs before acting on high-stakes decisions, and disclose AI involvement to end users where a law requires it.
Do not represent our model outputs as professional advice — legal, medical, financial, or otherwise — to anyone who is not qualified to interpret them.
08
Security Research
If you find a problem
We welcome good-faith security research. If you discover a vulnerability, report it privately to info@projektanalytics.com before disclosing it elsewhere. We will acknowledge promptly, work on a fix, and credit you if you would like.
09
Enforcement
What happens if a rule is broken
If we believe a use violates this policy or creates risk for our systems, our customers, or third parties, we may investigate, ask you to stop, suspend access, or terminate the engagement. Where the violation is severe — for example unlawful processing of personal data — we may take action without prior notice.
We prefer to talk first. Most issues are resolved with a quick conversation and a small change in configuration.
10
Changes
Updates to this Policy
We may update this policy as the platform and the surrounding legal landscape evolve. When the change is material we will update the effective date above and notify active customers. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
