Take a fairly ordinary startup scenario: a product team ships a new workflow in March, and April retention looks better for users who touched it. Good news, maybe. A company might figure out that churn rises when new users fail to understand one key feature in week one. Fine. Now what? Someone still has to catch that confusion while it is happening, on the site, in the help flow, in the moment when a visitor is hesitating or a customer is trying not to open a ticket.
